Hi,
When I set up, typemock 6.0 in TFS 2010 shown as below,
http://blogs.blackmarble.co.uk/blogs/rf ... build.aspx
there was ways to generate the test result in trx file and there was a way to set the build status to "partially succeeded" when the unit test fails.
But I wasn't able to see anything related those in TypeMock 7.
Please let me know if I'm wrong.
thank you in advance.
John.

Hi,
In Typemock Isolator v7, we revamped the TFS 2010 integration, using a TFS template we're providing as part of the installation. You can read more about how to set it up here:
http://docs.typemock.com/Isolator/#
#typemock.chm/Documentation/TFSBuild.html
Regarding the specific problem - generting the trx results file was never a Typemock setting, but a TFS one.
I believe you can do this through the information described here:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums ... c728548915
(See the first answer from the top).
Please let me know if that solved your problem.
Thanks,

Gil,
I can still pointing TypeMock 7.exe using MSTest.exe to generate the TestResults.trx and make the build partially succeeded described at the forum,
http://blogs.blackmarble.co.uk/blogs/rf ... build.aspx
.
But using newly provided TypeMock.TFS2010.dll, it seems like it runs just basic unit test run which works well during the parallel builds but it doesn't make any sense that I have to modify again on MSTest.exe to run the unit test again in order to create the test result file and make the build partially succeeded.
I wonder to see if TFS 2010 integration can work like how typemock build activities does providing more methods. Or is this something the end users need to do further customization.

Gil,
I was able to confirm that TypeMock 7.0.9 and 7.1.16 working with TypeMock BuildAcitivity that I was able to generate the testresults.trx.
We are using TFS2010 from VS2012 and you can mark my question fixed.
Thank you and happy holidays.
John.

Recently I have tested with TypeMock 7.2.1 that the testResults.trx is still missing in the build drop folder. I have tested with the TypeMock.TFS2010.dll in the build template but only local_[date formatted].trx is showing.

Hi,
Sorry for the late reply.
If I understand correct, there is a breaking change between 7.1.6 and 7.2.1.
I'd like to have an online session to take a look at this on your machine.
I will contact you by email next week to schedule.
