New Isolator Version 5.3-
Isolator’s version 5.3 the AAA API is adding new capabilities:
- Exact argument matching – set method to behave conditionally according to a specific set of arguments
- Method redefinition – set specific methods to run custom behavior
- Specific constructor invocation – select specific constructor to run when creating fake objects
New - SilverUnit
an Isolator add on that allows true Microsoft Silverlight unit testing.
Typemock have are releasing SilverUnit, a new open source project that enables Microsoft Silverlight unit testing. SilverUnit is a Typemock add on, that is based on a new Typemock feature called "Open AOP" that allows you to intercept any call in a precompiled system (SharePoint, Silverlight) and change its behavior.
Microsoft Silverlight runs with its own version of .Net runtime. Up until now, it was not possible to isolate Silverlight code in tests. But now, thanks to SilverUnit, built on top of Typemock Isolator, it is possible to test Silverlight with ease.
SilverUnit is the first implementation of CThru, targeted specifically at testing Silverlight applications.
