We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. That is why we have adopted this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy lets you know how your personal information is processed and explains data collection and use practices for the Typemock Network. The "Typemock Network" includes all web pages, newsletters, discussion forums and lists and opt-in announcement lists owned and operated by Typemock Ltd. By accessing the Typemock Network, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time as new features are added to the Typemock Network or as we incorporate suggestions from our customers. What Do We Collect?

Web Site Traffic Information
Because of the way the World Wide Web communication standards work, when you arrive at or leave the Typemock website, we automatically receive the web address of the site that you came from or are going to. We also collect information on which pages of our website you visit while you are on the Typemock Network, the type of browser you use, and the times you access our website. We use this information only to try to understand our customers' preferences better and to manage the load on our servers, so as to improve our service and your experience with the Typemock Network. We do not track the websites that you visit before or after you leave the Typemock Network.

Information Collected from Registered Customers
In order to open a Typemock account and use the advanced features of the Typemock Network, you must provide a user name, a password, and a valid email address. This is in order to avoid spam.

Information Collected from Purchasing Customers
In order to reduce the risk of fraud, Typemock Network also links to third-party e-commerce solutions that collect extra information such as purchaser's name, email address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date, when purchasing Typemock licenses. This allows the third-party e-commerce solutions to process and fulfill orders and provide notification of the order's status.

Information Collected from Typemock Products
Some information about the version and edition of our installed products may be sent to the Typemock Network. This information is used to keep customers up to date with the latest products and fixes. To turn this feature off, please consult the products documents. We retain these records in order to measure and improve our products, and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our End User License Agreement. We may, over time, delete these records if permitted by law.

How Typemock Network Uses Cookies
From time to time, the Typemock Network may send a "cookie" to your computer. A cookie is a small piece of data that is sent to your Internet browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can't read data from  your computer's hard disk or read cookie files created by other websites. Cookies do not damage your system. We use cookies to identify which areas of Typemock's Network you have visited or customized, so the next time you visit, those pages may be readily accessible. You can choose whether to accept cookies by changing the settings of your Internet browser. You can reset your browser to refuse all cookies, or allow your browser to show you when a cookie is being sent. If you choose not to accept these cookies, your experience at our site and other websites may be diminished and some features may not work as intended. Typemock does not use cookies to retrieve information from a computer that is unrelated to its website.

Customer Service Correspondence
If you send us correspondence, including emails and faxes, we retain such information in the records of your account. We will also retain customer service correspondence and other correspondence from Typemock Network to you. We retain these records in order to measure and improve our customer service, and to investigate potential fraud and violations of our End User License Agreement. We may, over time, delete these records if permitted by law.

Information about You from Third Parties
In some cases, we will conduct a background check on your business by obtaining information about you and your business from a credit bureau or a business information service like Dun & Bradstreet.

Our Use and Disclosure of Information

Internal Uses
We collect, store and process your personal information on servers located in the United States and other countries. In some cases, we process personal information on a server outside your own country. We use the information we collect about you to: 1) Provide our services; 2) Provide customer service; 3) Determine your eligibility to receive offers for special features or products; and 4) Improve our products and services.

We give access to individually identifiable information about our users only to those employees who require it to fulfill customer service requests.

Disclosure to Third Parties

  1. Typemock will not sell or rent any of your personally identifiable information to third parties. Typemock will not share any of your personally identifiable information with third parties except in the limited circumstances described below, or with your express permission. These third parties shall be limited by law or by contract from using the information for secondary purposes beyond the purposes for which the information is shared. We may disclose the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. We require that they comply with our Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  2. We disclose information that we in good faith believe is appropriate to cooperate in investigations of fraud or other illegal activities, or to conduct investigations of violations of our End User License Agreement. For example, this means that if we conduct a fraud investigation and conclude that one side has engaged in deceptive practices, we can give that person or entity's contact information (but not bank account or credit-card information) to victims who request it.
  3. We disclose information in response to a subpoena, warrant, court order, levy, attachment, order of a court-appointed receiver or other comparable legal process, including subpoenas from private parties in a civil action.
  4. We might share aggregated statistical data with our business partners or for public relations. For example, we may disclose that a specific percentage of our users live in California. However, this aggregated information is not tied to personally identifiable information.
  5. As with any other business, it is possible that Typemock in the future could merge with or be acquired by another company. If such a transaction occurs, the successor company would have access to the information maintained by Typemock, including customer account information, but would continue to be bound by this Privacy Policy unless and until it is amended as described above.

Internet Address Information
We use IP addresses, browser types and access times to analyze trends, administer our website, improve site performance, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.

Information Security

Typemock is committed to handling your customer information at a high standards of information security. While there is no such thing as "perfect security" on the Internet, we will take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety of your personally identifiable information. We restrict access to your personally identifiable information to employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you.

Any email or other communication requesting your password, asking you to provide sensitive account information via email, or linking to a website with a URL that does not begin with http://www.typemock.com/ should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported to Typemock immediately to: info@typemock.com
